Monolog Aku (Bersama Ayah)
Friday, June 30, 2006
Dalam kesayuan pagi
yang kelat dengan kemalasan,
aku menangisi kekosongan hati
mengimbau kenangan lampau
yang masih mekar, mercup memenuhi kotak fikiranku.
Aku reda dengan takdir
tapi, keperitan jiwa yang mengiringku
menelusuri jalan-jalan kehidupan
menggalas tanggungjawab,
membuat aku terus sayu.
Aku teringin membaringkan diriku di sisi mu
mendakap semula kehangatan dirimu
yang dahulunya menyinari siang malamku,
aku mendamba ketegasanmu
membimbing aku setiap langkah perjalananku.
Aku lemah.
Aku tidak berdaya melontar jauh keperitan ini.
Berikan aku tenaga.
Aku dahagakan semangatmu.
Tolonglah. Ayah.
Adakah kau mendengar pinta anakmu ini.
Oh ayah!
Aku gembira sekiranya titipan sayangku
kau terima.
Akan ku junjung namamu,
akan ku dukung impianmu,
akan ku julang bayang dirimu,
agar kau tenang di alammu,
sekalung doa,
sejambak Al-Fatihah,
ku kirimkan lagi ayah,
buat bekalanmu,
di alam Barzakh.

Tomorrow signifies the start of work cum madness, stress, tension, conflict, depression and the list can go on. I am no sceptic. Neither am I a pessimist. I am simply psyching myself out. No harm. It's best that I get myself ready for the worst. Anything good that surfaces will definitely be a bonus. It will be long, work I mean. Long. Long and tedious. Long and tedious and sometimes never-ending. But long and tedious and never-ending and sometimes exciting. Not to mention heartening. And challenging. I am looking forward to work. Why shouldn't I? I want to celebrate the good things. Good things at work. Will definitely bring about good things in life. Yes. Yes. Yes!

WorkOut DiarY - PhasE 1
0630 - Surprise! Surprise! I'm at it again. The session I had yesterday proved too much for my pretty body (pretty unfit body is more like it). All my joints were and still aching from all those clumsy antics I tried. But it's ok. Beauty doesn't come by easy...do they? I wore my freshly bought T-shirt; this was more an extrinsic motivation to get me out of the house. My brother cum escort was all geared up. We rushed out of the house... SIGH...
0705 - It was drizzling. Thought it was a sign from God, telling me that I am all ok as it is without having to sweat it out. Crap! Did my warm-ups and by the time I was done, sun was up, shining on me, telling me to stop those stupid warm ups already and get my butt moving. Well, there I was..Jog, jog, joggity jog...
0745 - That was all I could manage. We rushed to the park, and monkeyed around at the fitness corner. Pretty ok for a second day, despite the aches and the rain and all..

On my mark..geT set..Ouuchhh
Saturday, June 24, 2006
0630 - Wiggled, squirmed and wriggled my way out of my cosy bed and into e coldness of e bathroom
0645 - Hunted for my workout gear, Wooshhh dat was some major dusting..
0700 - Ahh...how the morning chill embraced me as I slowly but surely jogged ...away from the fats
0800 - It's heartening to see fellow joggers painfully (or Not..) striking steps after steps round the park. I know how tough it is to start on something as challenging as moving your two legs double the time round a park at such an ungodly hour. Me? I felt much more alive really, after the run. I actually felt like e red blood cells in me were really surfing their way through my arteries, up the veins, into the brains and all. Haha...I'm actually doing something worthy of survival.
0830 - More resolute then ever before to persistently pursue it again.
0900 - Breakfast galore.. "Mom, why do you have to prepare such a delicious breakfast..there goes all dat jogging.." Haha..I LIKE!!

Burning..
Monday, June 19, 2006

A flicker of the flame
Cast giant shadows of life
On the surface of reality
Wavering a daunting past
Burning the present
Illuminating an uncertain future
Burning secrets
Engulfing truths
Beneath the cold wax
Let the flame burn on
Let the heat pull in warmth
Melt the chill away
Just as would the cold
Like the summer shine
Pulling the curtain over
A freezing winter

A persistent pain has been gnawing my insides the whole of today. Found it really hard to stay focused; not with the pain stabbing me every five seconds or so. I am scared. Not sure who I should tell about this. Even as I'm typing this entry, the pain is throbbing.

With all that has been going on with me, i thought I might soon turn eccentric. It is no crime to be eccentric I want to share with you the following activity; pretty interesting, and harmless to me..

Develop Your Very Own Eccentricity
  1. Walking a cockroach; you can even choose to walk the flying cockroach.
  2. Carrying a pair of cymbal around.
  3. Whisper all the time.
  4. Dress only in pink.
  5. Style your hair, or someone else's hair to look like the Petronas Tower.
  6. Wearing a monocle; on EACH eye!

ALERT: By its nature, an eccentricity must be exclusive. That rules all the above activities out!

CounT your FartS
C'mon people, don't be shy. You need to count those farts. Realistically speaking, it is human nature to fart. Everyone does it. Everyone emits gas except probably...nah. Spare me the butts. But, what we all want to know is just how cow-like are you in your production?
Today, or whenever you are embarking on this aromatic activity, keep a rough numerical tally to ascertain if your methane generation falls within statistical norms, or if you pose a particular danger to the ozone layer. (You foul beast!)
For your reference:
MEN: 50cm3(9 emissions) WOMEN: 20cm3 (4 emissions)
Report any unusual emission to the Ministry of Environment immediately to have them ascertain the real dangers you pose. Do your part in saving the world!
Credit should go to the authors of THIS DIARY WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE for allowing me to share these wonderful activities with you.

MemorieS AwakeneD
A chance meeting brought me face to face literally with my past. It was a nostalgic one. I was transported through a series of flashbacks. But, it was not something that I totally enjoyed. I do not particularly relish being reminded of what I did in the past; I was not really proud of them. I'd rather people not rake it up. I had them buried deep. It was not easy. Things have happened in my life. I am not the person they saw back then. I hate to hear them say that they know me. They don't. They don't know what they are saying. I am happy with life now; the friends I have. I don't need them to come back and distort this happiness I've achieved. I have had enough.

CompulsivE DisordeR ALerT
Wednesday, June 14, 2006
Compulsive. Overly cautious. Highly exaggerated. That's me. I feel it intensify whenever I have comparatively less work to do. Terrifying. It is one thing to be meticulous. To be extremely meticulous is another thing altogether. My aunt told me once "Don't fret dear. It is in the genes." I reflected upon her words. Somehow it made sense. Bah! She had a point.
  1. My second uncle arms himself with a cleaning cloth whenever he has guests in the house. Each time their 'filthy' hands touch the surface of his glass table, his brassy doorknob, the shiny tap; straight he goes to the 'infected surface' and with vigorous motions, begins wiping them to get the gleam back on.
  2. My fourth aunt has taken to 'combing' the tassles on her cushions and carpet; just as we would our hair!
  3. My third uncle has the habit of splashing cleaning acid all over the bathroom once forthnightly.
  4. I have the habit of lining all the furnitures in the house based on accurate measurements of the tiles.

Is it really in the genes? What do I call it? Extreme cleaning disorder?

I came across this mind-blowing diary not two years ago at Kino. I know, i know you must be wondering; 2 years? What the?!? I never did look at this diary after I paid for it. I only came to really know how mind-blowing, pants-scorching, eye-popping it was after I found the diary in my cupboard a few days ago and started to read it; I mean really read it. Hahaha! Kudos to the freaks who started out this radical nonsense. I love it. I'm usually busy with work and family but this hols, I have decided to feed my time, and brain, and yours too if u dun mind with seemingly stupid but interesting activities. Thanks to Benrik (Ben Carey & Henrik Delehag of BENRIK LIMITED for THIS DIARY WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE (2004/05/06)
Chew and Chomp on it people!
ALERT : Will be posting activities regularly, do check it out. Some of it are really funny!!

at The StarT of aLL ThingS...
First and foremost, I have no idea why I'm doing this; yeah i mean to even bother posting my thoughts ... REALLY... I mean hey what can be more ironic then posting your InNERMOSt thoughts (which btw implies that the thoughts are to be Kept INSIDE your minD) online and Letting e Entire world into youR priVate enclave. But then again, if we are talking about alternative channels to chase away those awful memories; heart breaking, thought wrenching, brain-twisting feelings that nobody wants to have anything to do with, this is definitely it! It then dawned upon me that I too can tap on this wonderful creation. To pour whatever I need to onto this space and share them with the rest of the world to chew on. Who knows, my blog can actually be more effective than any stress-relieving GURUs/gadgets available in the market in helping me cope with the Evils of life. AAAhhhh...the wonders of technology. Never cease to Impress e brains out of Me.
Oh yes, I thought Id share this wonderful piece of POem just to get things Started..
Dear God, I beg u To...
give me e wisdom to understand them
give me e Love to forgive them
give me e patience to withstand them
But dear God, Don't present me with strength
Because if you give me strength...
I would break their SkullS!!
